From Nishi-Ogikubo Station on the JR Sobu Line or Chuo Line, go through the Nakadori Arcade at the exit and walk straight for about 4 minutes. *On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the Chuo Line does not stop at Nishi-Ogikubo Station, so please transfer to the Sobu Line at Ogikubo or Kichijoji Station.
Artist's comment
The theme is coffee shops and travels around the country that he has visited since his student days.
My initial goal was to get to the coffee shop.
Before I knew it, I wanted to learn about the entire town where coffee shops are established.
The memories I have of the people I met and shared time with at cafes during my travels are irreplaceable treasures, and I believe they have undoubtedly shaped who I am today.
Please take a look at the gentle and warm memories captured with a film camera over the course of about three years.
