Shimokitazawa reload will be holding a solo exhibition titled "Between" by Tomoka Shindo, an artist who has been photographing Tokyo's dance scene for many years. This exhibition, which has the main theme of 'gradation', will feature new works using silkscreens created by photographic transfer, as well as installations of sound and light. In addition, he will also present an edition piece for this solo exhibition, which was born out of his desire to print photographs using an analog method. During the exhibition period, we are also planning programs for visitor participation, such as workshops by Shindo and talk sessions with invited guests. Please enjoy the space created by Shindo, who is always taking on challenges and working as an artist.

As a dancer and a photographer, I have expanded the scope of my activities, and at times I also use words, and I am becoming a unique artist (existence) through the accumulated and mixed methods of expression. Please come and see the shape.

Born in Tokyo in 1992
1999 Started Jazz dance.
In 2009, enrolled in the Department of Photography at Nihon University College of Art.
After graduating in 2012, she started taking photos of dancers as a freelancer, using her dance experience. Based on photography, he works in a variety of media, including drawing on silk prints and canvas prints. At times, he expresses himself through his own dance performances, and his works always act on others while also asking questions to himself. Reactions are the latest art.
