Hello! Prio for poster printing.
Prio has 13 types of paper that you can choose according to your application.
There are various criteria for selecting materials such as those for outdoor use and cloth materials, but one of them is the glossy feeling of the printed surface .
Color development and print quality are very important in printing.
In fact, gloss is also an important factor that affects the impression of the finish.
Glossy paper with a glossy print surface similar to when a photo is developed at a photo shop

design for print
The design mainly consists of photographs and illustrations.
It is suitable for signboards that do not have fine characters and want to stand out anyway .
matte paper

A matte finish is recommended for printed materials that are intended to be read, such as menus and information boards.
Choose a matte finish if you plan to photograph the print itself. (photo props, face saddle panels, etc.)
Whether or not the paper handled by Prio is glossy
Shiny
glossy paper / glossy PVC / power synthetic paper
dull
matte paper / matte synthetic paper / fabric poster / synthetic fabric / illumination film
Semi-gloss (between glossy and matte)
waterproof paper / pearl photo paper
You can control the gloss by laminating!
Glossy paper, matte paper, pearl photo paper, matte synthetic paper, waterproof paper, power synthetic paper, and glossy PVC can be laminated.
Cold lamination, in which the laminating film is attached only to the printed surface, can be glossy or non-glossy.
When lamination is applied , the glossy finish of the laminate is applied regardless of the glossiness of the paper.
for example
Seals that can be used outdoors are "glossy PVC", but if you want a matte finish, you can change the gloss as desired by laminating.
When you inquire about general paper used indoors, we will guide you to "matte paper" or "glossy paper".
The difference between these two papers is the glossiness.
However, there are many customers who do not know how to choose gloss or not.
We hope that you will find it useful as a reference for future paper selection.
