About stretch processing

We will explain the basic processing methods for each type of edge processing used in our service.

If you are cutting the paper yourself or want it delivered with a border, please select "Maintain original size and submit complete data." (If you select borderless or borderless, the dimensions of the data surface of the delivered paper will change.)

Borderless

"Borderless" is a technique in which the image or data is enlarged or reduced so that the background color or pattern is printed all the way to the edges of the paper.

In the case of digital camera data with a different aspect ratio than A size, for example, the side with the smaller cutting size will extend by about 3 to 4 mm, and the other side will be cut as required and printed .

Any excess parts will not be printed, resulting in borderless printing.

• If the customer does not specify otherwise, the image will be centered and borderless.
• In most cases, the long side will be trimmed more than the other way around.
• If there are any areas you would like to avoid cutting, please specify this when ordering.
• If the dimensions of the submitted data match the paper size, it will be output at its original size without enlarging or reducing it.

With border

If you select "With borders," the image or data will be enlarged or reduced so that it fits within the paper and printed without being cut off (no cropping) and margins will be added as needed (minimum margin of approximately 3 to 4 mm).

However, if the data is created at full size for the paper size and there is margin (4 mm or more) on all four corners, it will be printed at full size without being reduced.

• If you have any requests regarding the top, bottom, left, and right margins, please specify the " margin width for each of the top, bottom, left, and right " in the comments section. (We cannot accommodate border widths of less than 3mm.)
  
  

Maintain original size and submit complete data

"Maintain original dimensions and submit complete data" is a option that requires submitting complete data and should be selected if you have prepared the data exactly according to the finished dimensions.

Since custom sizes cannot be selected at the ordering stage, we will process your order using the following compatible patterns.

■ If the data is smaller than the order form

→ The image will be centered while maintaining its original size, and margins will naturally be generated.

■ If the data is larger than the order form

→ The image will be centered while maintaining its original size, and any area outside the paper size will be cropped.

■ If the order form and data are the same size

→ The data will be output as is, but there may be a loss of about 1 to 2 mm due to printer error.

In this case, please add about 3 mm of bleed on each side.

In addition, you will need to provide instructions in the comments section in the following cases:

If you wish to have the data cut to the original size so that there are no blank spaces

→ Please write "cut to original size" in the notes section.

If you would like to order a custom size, simply write "cut to size" without specifying the size.

To add white borders to all four corners of the paper

→ Please specify the " width of the margins on the top, bottom, left, and right" in the comments section. If you would like to add margins, please enter "specified margins" + "cut to original size" in the comments section.
